JNU type A..h... claim that Brahmins ensured all Avatars were 'high caste'. was it so?

For the moment consider only Vishnu Avatars. 

Two Avatars, परशुराम & वामन were Brahmins,

One Avatar, राम was  Kshatriya 

One Avatar, कृष्ण was Yadav, (OBC) 

Three Avatars कूर्म, मत्स्य & वाराह were animals, 

One Avatar नरसिंह was a hybrid or humanoid? . 

Now my submission is All वर्ण share common origin ie गोत्र. 

गोत्र started with originating ऋषि , THIS would make all ऋषि पुत्र। 

3 animals and 1 hybrid skew the वर्ण system, which वर्ण do we place them? 

Coming to human Avatars. 

At वामन 's time we probably had Brahmins who continued with their original task of study and teaching and others. (nowhere is Mahabali referred to as Kshatriya, which he is not, being of Brahmin ancestry). At this point only one + वर्ण exists. 

By the time of परशुराम two वर्ण were established even though they shared common parentage - Brahmins dedicated in Shastras and Kshatriyas involved in Administration. This might be two वर्ण era. 

By the time of Rama, Kshatriyas were rulers/administrators, Brahmins were scholar/teachers and then we had others. All sharing same गोत्र but doing different tasks. I would call it 2+ वर्ण system. Wonder which वर्ण does हनुमान fit in, he is a Monkey (वानर) with a prehensile tail, he is a unmatched warrior and जनेऊ धारी पण्डित as well?

By the coming of कृष्ण, वर्ण system is well developed. कृष्ण is a यादव (OBC), but there are marital relations between Yadavs and Kshatriyas, wtf?

Probably वर्ण wasn't the barrier it is made out to be.

Not an Avatar but still pertinent - 

All 10 Sikh Gurus being Sodhi(s) or Bedi(s) trace their lineage to लव & कुश and they are खत्री s. This shows a large amount of social mobility where in descendants of राम are no longer Kshatriya.

Guess we can assert that Avatars formed themselves without considering caste, embodying themselves as to whosoever existed.

We get old too soon and smart too late. Part 1

Few decades back, when I was a kid, I was voraciously into reading fiction, My Granddad quoted Francis Bacon -  "Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested: that is, some books are to be read only in parts, others to be read, but not curiously, and some few to be read wholly, and with diligence and attention", he advised me not to be reckless and indiscriminate in my book selection.

I was an idiot and young, I ignored this great piece of advise, something I deeply regret today.

A Swedish Proverb nails it - “We get old too soon and smart too late."

Now, Facebook has an section wherein one enters the number of books one has read. (also the movies, TV shows.. but that is for a lament another day). I entered the names ended up with a huge list- Enid Blyton, Franklin W Dixon, Alistair McLean, Edgar R Burroughs, Ken Follett, ........

Today I feel nah, I know  - There is so many better books to spend time and effort on. I know I should have read less fiction and read fewer but better books (Primarily Non-fiction). The books I regret not reading thoroughly are my school & college Text books. The one book I regret not being able to implement is on speed reading (Monkey mind?).

Today I am proud owner of many wonderful Physics, Chemistry & Maths books; But my foundations being weak, I can barely appreciate the beauty let alone understand Quantum mechanics, Relativity or String theory. It's so painful, like listening to a refrain and not being able to remember the haunting melody.

Though I try to read regularly today, I realise the are so many books worth reading and so little time to learn and implement the knowledge gained. Worse, my monkey mind allows me to hoard, skim but rarely analyse or assimilate. 

Your God - My God

We see God in our own image,
There is 'One True God'.
Your God is as different to mine as your image is different from mine.

Hence you may worship Allah and you are right.

...........you may worship Yehua and you are right.
...........you may worship Krishna and you are right.
You may not believe in God and you are right.
When you squabble over- 'my God is better than your God you are actually battling for your own image.'
When you claim yours is the only true God, you are actually am saying I am the only true & righteous one all, while others are charlatans.
If you believe that your God demands absolute obedience or blood,  it is actually you who demand it and that is why are doing it.

Diplomacy vs Ego : Lessons, I learnt too Late

Simple task, simple approach?
 
I was tasked to establish a Construction Material Lab in a far flung area.
The aim of lab was to improve the quality of materials being used by construction wing of the firm. Now I was technically supposed to be reporting to the head office,  but all assistance required to set up the lab was to be rendered by Construction arm in location. Unsurprisingly the cooperation and the assistance obtained from the lab was negligible.
 
I requested, pleaded, only to be rebuffed or ignored. My ego kicked in, I established the lab with minimal assistance and naturally lots of pain.

Now hindsight gives me the luxury to check out what I did wrong and what I could do right. I was talking to an ex-employee who had faced a similar situation. this is what he told - "I went to the boss of local office and told him that I will be dependent on him for my living, in as so much though I was from different section he needed to adopt me as his own. I went to him regularly, boosted his ego and got his backing for all my endeavours "

My hindsight says, if I had done the same gone to the boss with desperate plea and boosted his ego wherein he rendered assistance just keep up with his inflated ego, my life would have been simpler.

No coffee after 6 PM ie 1800 h

It f....up the sleep.
Have been sleeping @ 0300 H whenever I do so.
Am addicted to 💻 /Internet... (it encompasses - watching 🎥, 📺, 📖, articles, 📰, email, gaming and social media) This adds to the pain.

Why do we go on Holidays?

Just realised -
We fill our homes 🏡 & hearths with junk.
The junk suffocates us.... To take a break we rush to holiday spots, while the spots are crowded, what actually gives us solace is the stay in uncluttered environment. We carry what we actually need, the hotel 🏩 rooms have only things we require.
Wouldn't it better and more economical if we simply uncluttered our homes 🏡 - bought only what is really required
discarded what is not.
